Editing to add: The 'effect' you mentioned in the Photoshoot icon is totally easy. Just add a layer filled with the color you want, then erase the center using a really big soft brush. If necessary you can reduce the opacity as well but for this one it's at 100%. Then you do your coloring layers on top. That's it!
