I definitely wanted there to be something at work here in addition to their bodies simply churning out physical symbols of chemical reactions. I don't know if it's supernatural, or just the fact that the two of them are so in tune with each other's emotions, even though they themselves don't realise it at a conscious level. But I wanted to show that their connection is so much deeper, and surprising even to them. Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it. :)
