Thanks for your thoughts! Tristram is definitely very observant, but as you say he's sometimes not sure what to do with the information, or comes to the wrong conclusions. I was trying to show kind of the development that I think Sherlock must have gone through as well, but Tristram is much more cautious than Sherlock. He's not just a miniature version of his father. No, no alarms here... those are coming!
