The second edition of my Great Sherlock Fanfiction Quiz is now live!

50 questions about popular Johnlock fics that will test the limits of your fic knowledge and beyond - authors, summaries, AU’s, crossovers, genres, and kinks galore!

There is no registration required. You will be asked to enter a name before the quiz starts, but you can put anything you want. Take as long as you like to complete it, there is no time limit. You will get a certificate at the end with your results that you can save and print out or post on your own blog.

The quiz may contain spoilers for some of the fics and may not be appropriate for under 18′s. And remember: this is just for fun!

Thanks to everyone who's taken the Great Sherlock Fanfiction Quiz! I've gotten lots of great feedback, and it sounds like people pretty much had fun and got some good recs out of it. Remember, this doesn't really measure anything and is meant only as a fun way to spend a few minutes.

As the number of takers is tapering off I thought I'd share some statistics at this point. Take these with a grain of salt as most of these are pretty meaningless for various reasons. But here's what has come out so far:

As of yesterday, I now have 700 bookmarks on AO3, all but one, as far as I recall, for fan fiction based on various versions of Sherlock Holmes. I don't even want to guess how many millions of words they encompass, but that certainly represents a good chunk of my life over the past two years.

The 700th bookmark was for a great fic, too, so I'll link it here:( The Madness of Angels by ayalesca )
