"Deflowered" has been accepted for publication!

The German Sherlock (BBC) fan fiction “Unberührt - Deflowered - extended version” by lorelei_lee1968​  has been rewritten as an original novel and accepted for publication. This means that...

1) lorelei_lee1968​ is an incredibly talented author (which we all knew already)

but also 2) The fic is being removed from the internet TONIGHT (Wed. 26 October 2016). If you want a copy, make sure to download it from AO3 ASAP.

It is not yet clear what, if anything, will be happening with the English translation which I made - “Deflowered - Director’s Cut” - but I would recommend that you likewise save a personal copy for any eventuality. ;)

Update 6 November 2016: The English version will remain on AO3.

Thank you for the heads-up. That is great news about Lorelei being published. Is the book going to come out in German or English? If in German, do you know which publisher bought it?

It's in German. It's her words, not mine, that are being published. She posted on her Facebook (author pseudonym page) that it is Deadsoft Verlag.

Thank you for the links. Interesting. I've not yet heard about the publisher but will definitely follow Lorelei's original publishing career. :)
