This is the result of a woeful tale of procrastination, writer's block, overstretching, and eventually perseverance: two versions of the same story. The shorter one is all I managed to get done in time for the holmestice exchange. The longer one is the story I originally set out to write, finally completed mere hours before the absolute deadline I set myself of December 31st. I don't know if one is better than the other; the shorter one is fluffier but has several incomplete arcs. The longer one is angstier and might meander a bit but they both get to the same point in the end. In any event, I am extremely grateful to the Holmestice mods for their patience and generosity with me, and to kinkajou for the prompts which seemed to have been custom picked for my particular likes.

Despite potential appearances, this does not contain any genderswap. And although the contrary may be hinted at in places, this is not meant to contain underage. I intended for both Sherlock and John to be over 18. Finally, I know what's mentioned with the university classes could never actually work in the U.K. but let's just pretend it's more like the U.S. system of education where pre-med students may have classes with other majors, kay? Kay. Just remember, it's all about the smut. The rest is just transport.
