Thanks to everyone who's taken the Great Sherlock Fanfiction Quiz! I've gotten lots of great feedback, and it sounds like people pretty much had fun and got some good recs out of it. Remember, this doesn't really measure anything and is meant only as a fun way to spend a few minutes.
As the number of takers is tapering off I thought I'd share some statistics at this point. Take these with a grain of salt as most of these are pretty meaningless for various reasons. But here's what has come out so far:
Statistics as of 15 March 2015
Number of takers: 1285
Highest score: 96%
Average score: 43% (this is probably artificially low due to the number of people who did not answer anything or quit partway through)
Average time taken: 17 minutes 30 seconds (this is probably artificially low due to the number of people who exited after a very short time without completing the quiz, although there were also a few who took nearly 8 hours, probably because they left the window open all day or overnight before submitting their responses)
Number of scores from 90-100%: 9 (1%)
Number of scores from 80-89%: 21 (2%)
Number of scores from 70-79%: 75 (6%)
Number of scores from 60-69%: 139 (11%)
Number of scores from 50-59%: 232 (18%)
Number of scores from 40-49%: 301 (23%)
Number of scores from 30-39%: 242 (19%)
Number of scores from 20-29%: 107 (8%)
