I have 999 bookmarks on AO3. I want something really good for my thousandth. Does anyone have a recommendation for an excellent Johnlock fic, preferably at least 15,000 words, that I might not have read yet? :D

Written for Sherlock Remix 2014 (and fine-tuned slightly since posting there.) I was lucky enough to get to remix Murder Will Out (http://archiveofourown.org/works/404483) by keerawa (http://archiveofourown.org/users/keerawa/pseuds/keerawa), which I hope you'll read first (it's quite short!)

I read this recently, but the rec was probably from you ages ago.

I agree! If you've got a master list of your recs, SM, bookmark 1000 should lead there. You're an invaluable resource for the rest of us! M.

It seems like you're the one everyone else turns to, so I suspect you've read most things I would be able to rec. (I'll second what someone said above: I'll read whatever you decide to use as your 1,000th!)

The one I have read most recently that I've not heard a lot of talk about is Command Structure (but I wouldn't be surprised if you were already familiar with it!) http://archiveofourown.org/works/1330516/chapters/2771080

Silent Auror just came out with an excellent story, A Satisfactory Arrangement...which now has a supremely satisfying (yes, take that in THAT way!) coda.

It was so exciting to see achray post! I just saw that she left a part off so I need to go back and reread the entire story for the full affect. It is a a favorite of mine (not only because of the writing) but because of the level of danger (physical and sexual) she puts them through on top of the angst.

I haven't been following Eyes Up Heels Down. *smiles* I'll wait for your rec then.
