HP Canon Fest Stats

Welcome once again to my stats lair. This time we are featuring pickings from hp_canon_fest . You can find the master list here.

Quick overview for those who don't want to scroll through all the details:

There were 42 fics and 11 graphics created for this fest. There was a huge amount of Ron/Hermione love going on, with fully half of the fics and all but 3 of the graphics featuring that pairing. The Gryffindors in general were the hands-down favorites for fics and art, with only 6 fics not featuring at least one Gryffindor, and only 1 non-Gryffindor pairing getting a graphic.

Harry's generation was also heavily favored, with several of the older generation also represented, but only 1 Next Gen fic.

The ratings were fairly evenly spread over the range from G to NC-17, but it was definitely not a smutfest, with most fics being in the PG to PG-13 range.

Interestingly, there were no Big Bang length fics submitted, although the rules would have allowed fics of any length. The longest fic clocked in at just under 8,000 words, with most fics being under 3,000 words.

The art produced was mainly work-safe, although I personally disagreed with the posted ratings for several of the graphics. Perhaps the artists erred on the side of caution, as I would have given 4 of the graphics lower ratings.

I assumed that Rodolphus and Narcissa were in Slytherin, although I'm not sure it's explicitly stated. Fleur, Audrey, Rolf, Asteria, Teddy, Victoire, Petunia, and Vernon count as unknowns.

The pairings by generation were represented as follows:

I counted Bill/Fleur to the older generation, but Percy/Audrey to Harry's generation, because Percy was at school at the same time as Harry.
