Well, I was surprised at first by all the Gryff, but then I thought, probably canon-o-philes also subscribe to OBHWF, and those are pretty much Gryffindors. Also, Rowling mostly only filled out the pairings for her beloved Gryffs, so if you have to write a canon pairing, there aren't all that many non-Gryffs to choose from.
I was also surprised by the lack of Next Gen fic (although again, only one Next Gen pairing was defined in canon, so there's not that much material). I think the reason there wasn't more Marauders fic is that people who write Lily/James usually also like to pair up Remus and Sirius, either with OCs or with each other, and that wasn't allowed by this fest.
The lack of slash is obvious, although someone could have done a Dumbledore/Grindelwald fic.
I'm stumped by the fact that R/Hr trounced H/G though. I thought there was more H/G affinity in fandom than R/Hr, even among canon-lovers, but apparently not.
