Title: Zing
Author:
angelps_7
Gift For: ashleyfanfic
Summary: Rose has trouble getting Scorpius, her best friend, out of her head. Lucky for her, a mischievous Scorpius may feel the same way.
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: None…. Just some nice fluff :)
Word Count: 2,006
Longest fic:
Title: Not as Originally Planned
Author:
mollywheezy
Gift For:
sophia_weasley
Summary: Rose's life is not turning out the way she planned it. Neither is Scorpius'. Can they find happiness together?
Rating: R
Warnings: language, sexual situations, not compliant with interview canon (but IS compliant with book canon)
Word Count: ~14,000
A few thoughts: There was a distinct lack of art for this exchange, although artists are hard to come by in general, and the quality of the 2 art gifts for this exchange was certainly not lacking.
The exchange was about half-and-half with the smut, with 12 out of 28 fics being rated at least R. Clearly, Rose/Scorpius is considered a sexy couple by many shippers!
The fic lengths were interesting, with a big bunch right at the bottom and several contenders for shortest fic just over the 2000-word minimum. Another fairly large bunch in the 4-5K range, and then a small group of overachievers reaching for the 14K mark. Given the amount of writing time allowed (nearly 3 months), one might have expected at least one Big Bang-length fic (over 20K), but it seems all the authors were able to tell their stories more succinctly than that.
