I meant to say this earlier, but thanks for compiling some stats for the fest. I'm one of the co-mods of the community, and yeah some of our rules are a bit loose - we just really wanted a community that featured mostly darker characters and was active.
You are quite right, we had all Malfoy and Black -cest pairings. They definitely are the most popular and usually favorites. While reading your thoughts I wondered if part of the reason we don't see more Amycus/Alecto, or Nott Sr/Theodore Nott, etc., is because there's so little known about them. I personally have a hard time connecting two vague characters, and I wonder if others do as well. They are extremely rare pairings though; on a side note I've been trying to find Alecto/Pansy and that is like searching for a needle in ten haystacks.
