I suppose the high Remus/Severus count has to do with me being a mod - there were years we did this exchange with only 15 - 20 people, and in those lean years, I made a lot of noise on my flist. Happily, many of those people have come back year after year!
I've never promoted the exchange to pairing communities for fear of more people than I can handle coming out to play. Lack of Snape/Hermione this year is a bit shocking, but the Het people seemed to favour Harry's generation and Next Gen. I'm thrilled that Gen thrives in this exchange!
