I guess it has nothing to do with you or your story really. I just happened upon another magical realism recently and it was full of plot holes. The magical part was interesting, but it didn't make sense withing the Sherlock BBC world in my opinion. I think that most of magical realism stories I've read usually are somehow weird. Either they are overly romanticised or too magical and often just too illogical. I've probably just been unlucky or maybe I have ridiculous standards. Anyway, your story made sense in it's own universe. Thank you for writing it.
