I've just finished reading this, and I love the whole thing, but I must make a note here on this chapter acknowledging just how clever you are.
The name John picks for Sherlock-as-his-boyfriend. Lionel. Can be pronounced as "Lie-null" As in John's name choice for the fake romantic partner situation says outright that the 'lie' (he's not romantically involved with Sherlock) is 'null', and therefore not a lie at all. John's subconscious is sending him a message via the choice of a name.
