*happy sigh* it's things like this that get me through the long wait (and the imaginings of John's long wait!). This was lovely and romantic, in as much as Sherlock can ever be, anyway. I love that Sherlock got an opportunity to be honest with John ahead of when he comes back, that they got to have a few dreams and a bit of hope and comfort.
I enjoy an ambiguous, open ending, so I shan't ask for more, though I would undoubtedly enjoy whatever you wrote!
