I was morbidly looking forward to details of Sherlock's drug habit and must say I love how you handled it. I loved that the hospital they go to happens to be the one where Sherlock was brought when he od'd.
Focusing on John, Sherlock found that the memories of his earlier hospital stay lost their sharp edge. They were thin, gray, two-dimensional; John was a beacon of warm colours and compact reassurance.
That was soooo beautiful. What a wonderful way to describe John's effect on Sherlock. Not just a conductor of light but also warmth and safety. :)
Hehheheehe, really enjoyed how Sherlock is trying not to get swept away by John's ideas and approach to teaching.
I was very glad to see them text at the end - yay for Sherlock making a suggestive comment, even if it wasn't planned...
Thank you! This continues to be such a great read!
