Some thoughts: With such a small sample, it's a bit hard to detect many trends. The ratings were very evenly spread out, perhaps slightly skewed toward the higher end with half of the submissions rated R or above.
The word counts were typical, with the bulk (60%) under 5,000 words, a couple of middling-long ones, and one much longer than the rest, although even that did not quite hit Big Bang (20K) territory. With only two months in which to write (and have the fic beta read), however, it's a strong effort.
The one clear trend is the popularity of Supernatural as a crossover, in particular pairing Hermione with Dean. I have never seen Supernatural, so I'm not sure what the chemistry between Hermione and the character of Dean would be, but apparently a lot of fest participants find it a compelling pairing.
