Some thoughts: This was supposed to be a fic-only 'party' (actually not a 'fest'), but who's going to say no to art? The art (2 pieces in a single entry) was really an extra, though, and created for the community as a whole.
I think these are the first stats I've done where there was such a large proportion of G-rated fic. Which is not to say that the higher ratings were neglected, as there were the same number of G, PG-13, and R-rated gifts, with exactly 24% each. And that's another unusual point: the fics were almost perfectly divided among the 4 ratings from G to R. There was just one fewer fic in the PG group, making up 20%. NC-17 was the runner-up, with only 2 fics (8%).
This was a low-pressure event, with no length requirements at all. As such, a couple of authors wrote drabble-length pieces, while other authors wrote up to 13,000 words. By and large, though, the word count distribution looked like that of most other fests with a 1,000 word minimum, namely with the largest number of fics in the lowest range at 1-2K, and the number of fics rapidly dropping off after a certain plateau, in this case at 4,000 words. 68% of the fics were less than 4,000 words.
The amount of femmeslash was the big surprise for me out of thisfest party. Rarely does femmeslash turn out to be the most popular alignment for pairings in a non-femmeslash-specific fest. I think the reason for its popularity here can be found in the popularity of Minerva among the participants, many of whom probably also enjoy pairing her with a female. Still, Minerva did end up with a couple of male partners as well (Alastor and Severus), making her not only the most popular but also the most promiscuous character.
Slash was also quite popular, as was, refreshingly, genfic.
Minerva and Severus were the runaway favorites at the party, with Minerva being featured in a leading role in a whopping 60% of the fics, and Severus in nearly half (48%). The next most popular characters only reached the 16% mark.
Interestingly, the only staff member from the list of 'invitees' not to be mentioned at all was Sibyll Trelawney. One can only assume she got lost on the way down to the party from the Divination classroom. 'Special friends' Muriel Weasley and Griselda Marchbanks likewise didn't make it. Perhaps they were diverted on the way and ended up at a most entertaining private party of their own.

And allow me to offer an explanation for the f/f peak. It all started as a little party I decided to throw for my flist. Several of them had complained about the huge m/m rate at the great Christmas fests (HP_yuleballs, Snapely Holidays and such). They were in doubt whether they wanted to sign up, since they felt they might get assignments they didn't enjoy writing.
At that point, I thought, 'let's throw a little party (as you pointed out, it's not a fest) where authors can do basically anything they like. The only requirement was that they should avoid their recipient's particular squicks. (Hence the very different lengths, too).
Well, my flist consists for the major part of ardent f/f lovers...
And the rest is history.
Oh, and I included Sybill Trelawney in the list of invites because she is a Hogwarts Professor. For the whole 7 years of canon. Can't ignore her. But no-one on my flist is very fond of her.
For that very reason I excluded Umbridge and Squirrel. And Gilderoy Lockhart, for I felt no-one would want to write him, and he was only there for a year. But then one author took up the challenge and wrote what is to me the canon background for Lockhart.
So really it's the 'it's not an official fest, it's a party where my flist and I have a ball' attitude that explains most of the funny things.
