Some thoughts: This was a good turn-out for a relatively rare pairing, with 28 participants. However, the high number of pinch hitters and gifts for the community makes me wonder if there were a lot of people who dropped out, or if there were problems matching prompts. There was quite a lot of art created, which is always nice to see.

The ratings had a healthy spread across all ratings, although all but one of the art gifts were rated PG or less. On the other hand, 42% of the fics were rated R or above, so that balanced things out.

The word counts covered a very wide range, from just over 1K to Big Bang length. The creation period was quite long, which accounts for the fact that there were so many long fics, with 29% being 10K or longer. Interestingly, the pinch hitters as a group didn't write shorter fics than the 'regular' participants.Two of the pinch hits were in the 10K range, and the rest were spread out pretty evenly amongst the mid-length fics.

I just found this, so thank you for posting it. I am a numbers gal myself, so these stats are like brain candy.

I suppose length depends on the author. I have a hard time writing short things, which is why my first pinch-hit was over 10k in less than a week, and my second pinch hit was almost 6k in about three days. Once a bunny goes, it goes.

It was a great intro to LJ fandom fic, and I hope it keeps on truckin' long enough for me to actually sign up properly next time, lol.
