AO3 Bookmark Collections of Sherlock Holmes Fics

A few people have told me now how useful they've found my collections of bookmarks of Sherlock Holmes fics on AO3. So for those who don't know about them, here is an introduction. (If you want to know how to make your own collections, I've written up a how-to post HERE.)

The main collection page can be found HERE. (Links to the individual collections are at the end of this post.) These are bookmarks of fics that I've read, nearly all in one of the various Sherlock Holmes fandoms (for the most part BBC, with a sizeable ACD collection and a smaller Ritchieverse one). These are not fics that I have written. The bookmarks also include fics that are not archived on AO3, especially many ACD fics housed on private archives as well as some other fics found only on LJ or ff.net.

I made these bookmark collections mainly for myself, so that I can more easily find fics that I've read and may either want to re-read or that I think people may ask for in rec requests. So, these aren't all the fics I've read, nor are they all my absolute favourites, but they all have at least some redeeming qualities. The ones I really liked have the additional 'rec' notation (a little heart symbol in the upper right). :)

I'm constantly adding new bookmarks, and I also periodically re-arrange things and add additional collections in order to keep the collection sizes manageable. I'm trying not to go over 100 fics in any one collection, but it's getting difficult for some of the categories. ;)

These are not meant to be exhaustive lists of fics in each genre; they only reflect my own personal reading preferences, which tend to be: a) long and b) John/Sherlock. Obviously, there are many more Omegaverse fics that are not included, or kid!fics, or Ritchieverse. If you know of a fic that you think should really be included because it fits into both the collection and my reading preferences, feel free to let me know. There are several fics that I have read but haven't made bookmarks for yet, especially those that are archived elsewhere than on AO3, and I'd appreciate having heads-ups on those. On the other hand, there are other fics that I either have read and thought were awful, or that I would never read because of the pairing, or something else. They may still be great fics, just not my cup of tea. So, you know, don't be offended if you suggest a fic and I decline to add it. These are still my personal lists.
