Looking for a beta reader/Britpicker
Aug. 30th, 2013 03:44 pmUpdated 2 September as I've now completed the fic and could still use 1 more beta reader
I'm looking for a beta reader/Britpicker for a long fic I'malmost done with:
A fusion of Sherlock and Nativity (holiday movie starring Martin Freeman, but you don't need to have seen the movie)
Complete AU, no Series 3 spoilers
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Nothing that would need warnings or that should be triggery in any way. Fairly low angst level, with a happy ending. It's mostly a relationship fic with a very thin plot from the movie.
Rating: Explicit, but there's not all that much smut, so if you're not comfortable reading high-rated stuff you can skip it and just do the rest.
Currently I'm in the middle of writing what should be the second to last chapter with 92,500 words, expected final length 95-100K.
Completed length: 99,500 words
I know that's a tall order, and ideally I'd like to post at the rate of 2 chapters a week so it's done posting before Series 3 is aired. Mostly I'm looking for someone to proofread and Britpick but of course criticisms on plot, characterization, etc. are also great. Multiple beta readers would be more than welcome. :D
Please PM me if you're interested!
